Singer Whitney Houston was declared dead earlier today by her publicist. Various sources have stated that Houston died at a Beverly Hilton hotel this afternoon,however the cause and location of her death has not yet been confirmed by police officials. Detail of the super star singers death remain unclear but her addiction to drugs was well documented.

Houston won two Emmy’s,thirty Billboard music awards,twenty-two American music awards and Six Grammy awards. She was the first female to have her album debut at number one on the Billboard charts and throughout her career the diva sold over 200 million albums world wide.

Whitney Houston was undoubtedly one of the greatest voices to have performed in our generation and will be missed. She is survived by one child Bobbi Kristina
